I’m sure that many of you have heard about the passing of Nora Ephron, writer of Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, and other classic movies. I grew up watching these 90s classics, and they’re as important to my pop culture upbringing as any other films from the 90s. While we are sad about her passing, it is amazing to think about how so many different kinds of people, for almost two centuries now, have the common thread of Jane Austen’s stories to bind us together. Here’s to another 200 years.
